I thought you were going to include a pic and forgot.

Tossers, aren't they.

£300. No MOT. Can't find any history, either.

Definitely. Had a 1.8 myself a few years ago. It was an estate, I bought it to help with a house move and planned to sell it on quickly. Ended up keeping it for two years because it was such a great drive.

Indeed, was a revolutionary car design in its time.

My father bought one new, Y reg in white. When he passed away in 09, it went to my brother. Can't be many one family owned S1 Focuses (Foci?) out there. Still in good nick!

Any love for my £50 Corsa I bought a year or so ago for my first car? Needed a new timing chain fitted which I luckily had one lying around. Fitted that myself and the interior needed a seriously deep clean, also which I could do myself. Racked up 40,000 miles in the first year and part exchanged it for £1,100. Only needed a new oil pressure switch in that whole time - bargain!
I had a Corsa of that generation. It got to 190k miles without a problem of any kind.

Great cheap cars, although not very fun!

1998 Vauxhall Vectra; 16v 2litre petrol, 88.5k miles; car is old but still works as it should; it has been family-owned for last 10 years, and by me since 2009; I drive less than 1000 miles a year, as last 6 MOT's will show; MOT till end Mar '17; paintwork tatty, but starts first time and is generally reliable; I guess a bit of tlc wouldn't do it any harm; used with care, this car will go another 50,000 miles easy; I now have another vehicle, and don't need it anymore, but too good to throw away; N.B. to indemnify myself, I will require to see two forms of ID before release; apologies if this inconvenient, but non-negotiable.

I can make initial contact for someone if you want.

Wondered if he just didn't want someone to take it then smash through every speed camera on the way home.

I hate adverts that use TLC, if it was easy they would have used it.
