I'd say the idiot in the larger Mercedes is (probably) the worst offender in that photo - one of my real pet hates is people who leave a smaller than car gap at the end of a bay like that.

There's a small chance there was a smaller car there originally, or maybe a couple of motorbikes - but you're most likely to find that just didn't give a fk and parked inconsiderately.
Agreed, that boils my piss too, and those like the audi who park in a bay that doesn't exist and then make (usually an exit or narrow way) even narrower. s.
You can say that from seeing 1 picture?
No I say it because I have experienced it. frequently.
See it every day, in Stonehaven near me, parking is a nightmare, unfortunately never see wardens, some park all day in 45 min parking restrictions, and one little parking area has room for four cars, rarely see four, the ones either end are about 4ft from the end of the bay.

Others along the road seem to want 3ft at each end of their car.

The silver transit van he parked next too managed, I could maybe understand if he backed it in, but front wheels up and over the footpath ?

Not a car park, but a dead end service road, when the yellow lines are only in force from 6am - 7am each morning;

not being funny (or trying to defend the pick up van) but it's significantly larger than the tranny, trying to compare the two isn't fair.
What TechGuyOne said.

Transit Custom are probably only around the length of a typical family car.

LWB vans are significantly harder to park. If the only parking option are those nose in kind of bays then one end of the van had to bump up the curb/verge/whatever or the nose/tail is blocking the road.

Join the club. Neighbour had a visitor, absolutely nothing parked on the road, but oh no, just leave it on the pavement.

There's some weird fking obsession with having to park right outside a house you're visiting. I see this all the time around here. Why can't they fking park 30 seconds down the road and walk???

It would seen the fact that I cannot exit it my car, is secondary to the fact the the driver "has parked in the while lines!
Common sense clearly does not prevails.

I'm not small, no, but even if not, the door would not open enough for anyone to get out

The industrial estate in Crawley, total nightmare for parking as too many units, too many workers and not enough parking spaces.

So when you realised you couldn't get out, why didn't you reverse park so your driver's door's on the other side ?
