Not so much crappy personalised plates, but you were visiting Holland, and they had a similar thread you would be on it.

I had KUT 94V years ago, my Dutch neighbour sent a pic to his pal in Holland. (After explaining why he found it so amusing).

Sorry for the post to the right of the plate, I took this from an upstairs restaurant.

Followed a porsche Carrera 4 with a silly plate earlier. I can't remember what it was though. B16 BOY (i think it was similar) comes up with a 911 turbo S.

Oh good grief - I saw a BMW M3 here in Somerset with a reg plate of.........BMW M3

Well good for you buddy, you have spent as much on your plate as you did on the car. And we kind of already know that its a BMW M3 because it already has a perfectly good BMW badge on it saying as much.
Huh.

How does that work then ?

BMW M3 is not a valid plate

I would guess its a garage display plate, presumably there might have been magnetic trade plates elsewhere?

BMW 113 or something similar with judicious placement of screwheads perhaps?

I assume they've been pulled a few times for dodgy spaced plates before, based on the use of the Velcro / double sided taped on, regular size and crappy spaced plate, stuck right on top of the original correctly spaced one. Guess it saves time come removing it when instructed hehe
