I have to say, I wasn't expecting that - thought it would be an old Celica underneath or something equally ridiculous!

i would suggest coachbuilt, very rare and very expensive. Looks good from some angles, but from others not so much...

Spotted this Jaguar prototype about an hour ago at the Shires Retail Park in Leamington Spa today. Not sure what model it is, but it looks a little bit like an F-Type with a hardtop. Sounded incredible and it looks pretty awesome too!!

I see the Daily Wail snapped up your pictures then.

doesn't really matter though does it, it was parked there on purpose to be seen. If it wasn't one person's photos it would be another.

...but I assume they took it without permission and without giving any credit to RobTVR.

And the side blades have a larger intake on the V10.

yep that's what they do. It's morally wrong, but putting pics up on the public internet means they don't belong to you as such and can be snaffled. That's why watermarks exist.

Maybe read the article then, as he is quoted and credited.

why would i do that? It's not news. "Car deliberately placed to be spotted gets spotted". It was someone else who posted a link to the article, I just said it's common practice for the media to not credit amateur photographers. Unusual that they did this time, however it still isn't something I particular am interested in.

Although it seems he has actually been credited anyway, what you've wrote is not true at all.

Just because you make it easy for someone to steal something, doesn't mean they now have permission. Look at companies like Picscout, making a lot of money sending out invoices for invoices that people have just lifted from elsewhere without permission.

Also you might find they haven't stolen 'your' image. You probably gave that right away when you uploaded it to Facebook, Twitter, tiny pic, Pistonheads, or anywhere else. I know for sure with Facebook you are giving them rights to do whatever they want with anything you upload.

no you're misunderstanding me, posting on the internet is either legally or practically giving up your rights to the image. A lot of sites have it written into their T&C to say they specifically own everything you post. However lots do not, but it's publicly available. Your TV is still your TV if you leave it outside your house at night, but it's your fault if someone else takes it regardless of the immorality of theft. Posting a picture on a public forum and then complaining someone copied it is idiotic. You have to be prepared that it will happen, particularly if you post something which might be seen as vaguely interesting. I have to say images of 'camouflaged' models don't interest me much more than a couple of seconds glance, but i know a lot of people st themselves with excitement.
