I agree regarding the R32 / GTI debate.

For the Clio, I imagine the non-V6 RS Clios are an absolute hoot (as well as much better value and more attainable). Awesome performance bargains.

However, I do have a thing for unhinged V6 MR cars hehe I think the V6 has its place purely due to being a bit bananas. Supposedly an absorbing drive as well as a really nice engine note. As hideously impractical as it is lovely to look at (imo):

Although one of these could also be a giggle:

Even if the V6 drove like a Mitsubishi Carisma I think I'd still want one

Leins and dom9 - thumbup

Seriously considered one a couple of years back but missed the boat (the one I was looking at in black was £15k, similar cars now at least £25-30k!). Still attractive imo. Gorgeous looks, sound and a rewarding drive = win.

Thanks DM smile

It's difficult with prices where they are... Mine will be coming out of hibernation for its MOT in the next few weeks. It's always kept taxed, MOTed and insured but it doesn't get used enough with values where they are and my job hanging in the balance (i.e. its value may become important).

A shame because there really isn't much else like it!

Chaps, this is epic imo:

popopbanbangs 996 C4 - sweet spec, 300k miles!

Helps if you can / have access to people that know what they're doing.

/Heads off to browse classifieds (ok, I always have a couple of tabs open hehe )...

It's been there for some time with a combination of JK and unused taxes ... wink

Anyway the interior is the wrong colour. What I need is a Rosso with black interior example. Carbon backed seats and Challenge grills. ThankYouPlease. biggrin

O/T - I met JK many years ago (late nineties) due to a family member working with him. Genuine enthusiasm for cars. I recall thinking his annual fleet insurance bill of ~£12k wasn't much fun but then if you will be a musician / celeb... wink

Back to Fezzas - this is eminently lustworthy imo:

lick

Not sure about the dealers provenance but black on tan is working for me (a tad melodramatic but still gorgeous lines).

Looking after it for you wink

WRT other colours, coming out of the Ferrari Centre last week I saw a very dark silver/charcoal grey one with bordeaux interior. Looked very smart!

I'm actually planning on giving it its annual outing this coming weekend, so will take a 2016 snap then...

My tinkered with 182 is likely much faster round a track, but I'd love to have a V6. So much presence and a real experience to drive, just don't get anything like it nowerdays. The new Clio is mad, but not quite v6 in the back bonkers.

I'm a strong advocate of non-red Ferraris. However, in the case of the 348, I think it has to be red.

Well now, that's just scuppered any plans I had to stop wasting money on Porsches. This snippet in particular makes me love to hate the guy:

Get stuff that couldn't be flown or had missed the flight to the other side of Europe as close to how quickly a plane could do it as was reasonably possible. It does that well.
Yeah? Well I've gone fast once or twice too, y'know! Pffft.

You'll certainly be faster round the track than me - it gets a bit babied!

I had a 40k miles Clio Williams and a modified 172 at the same time and they left...

Unless we run short of cash; this will never leave me! It's my favourite car ever biggrin

However, I do have a 106 XSi rebuild project on the go so I get my lightweight FWD thrills.
