Have you tried buying trousers? Complete and utter waste of time unless you're either short and fat or a skinny jean wearing hermaphrodite.

I don't know why but there is something that appeals to me about a little van...cool.

A relative had one of those, the leg room was immense.

Long car though.

Sadly I have been recently dreaming about a car I owned 25 years ago, in my dream its a bit rusty and needs some TLC but I'm sorting that and looking for a better engine to put in it, maybe my subconscious is trying to tell me something

I'm definitely still enjoying the MX5 at the moment, so certainly not looking to change. But my next car will definitely be a bit more spacious and more of a GT - we've been doing a lot of trips up to Oxford to see friends recently.

Something like this rather appeals;

£30k for a 650i under 30,000 miles seems amazing value!

I really, really, miss my 1967 Honda S800 that I owned in the '70's.. Forget the Alfa, real petrolhead, thing, ..you haven't driven til you've driven one of these. If you get the chance, grab it!

In the manual it stated that it was ok to exceed 12k rpm (i.e. off the clock) as long as you were accelerating and not cruising.

791cc 4 banger, four carbs, twincam, dry sump, roller bearing crank, and its not bike motor either. Rev band started at 8.5k to 11.5k. It howled like a modern F1 McLaren

Yes. I don't care if they're reviewed as being a bit crap, the character just oozes out of them. A wonderful creation!

A more obtainable Porsche than a Singer

The 'Growler' (nothing to do with a big hairy fanny).

A 964 hot rod. Modified engine, RS suspension, weight taken out where possible.

Not a real RS but that means you wont be scared to drive it and put mileage on it.

Vid of it here and it sounds amazing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZ6Bwr48ytg

I seem to go through phases with '60s and '70s Alfas but the Bertone Coupes keep niggling away at the grey cells, as does the Montreal...

. Always fantasise about buying one of these but can't justify spending 12-15k on one

thats is awful in the same way as the new Honda Civic Type R......lots of go yes, but definitely lots of show.

truly hateful looks unless youre under 25 with a baseball cap (sorry to those guys who do those You Tube car reviews who are clearly well north of 45 but still like to wear such head gear).....
