Any more pictures of this one? The bodywork is certainly a bit iffy but that intercooler is rather large...

eta: beaten to it on the Spoon one so removed large image paperbag

Mugen? Spoon? Who are these clowns?
No respectable long standing tuning company would touch the Jazz.. right?

etaa: I rather like the originally posted one as well, it has a certain cheeky charm.

That's a Dimma built show car - Dimma were/are famous for wide arch Pugs and R5GTTs in the 90s!

If I remember right it's not a turbo but it does have a intercooler in place to show that it can fit one. It's actually a 3.0 straight 6 with M3 running gear under it.

I am not a BMW fan but i do like wide body kits and this one looks well done. Now if someone photo shopped that in a nice resale grey it would look pretty mean!

I love these retro odd ball cars.

Some day Delta kitted Saxo's will be considered cool.

Is that a Mk3 Escort underneath then? I had been thinking it might be a Peugeot 309.

It's utter gash of the worst type. Hundreds of kilos of fibreglass and filler to produce a car which is objectively a worse vehicle than the already mediocre base car means it definitely belongs here.
Yes it is mk3 Escort. Not commenting on the rest......
Small point of order. On a G plate it's a Mk4 Escort so gets the stter 'fisher price' dash.

I feel like there is something wrong with some of these posts as I haven't been that offended by the last few cars in this thread.

The Escort has almost certainly featured on this topic before and has been around for a long time now. it's a Reiger F40 kit that back in the 90s would be considered the daddy of wide arch bodykits and a good few £££.

To me there is a huge difference between the awful Ka with rubbish stickers and other tat stuck on and the Escort that has had an extensive bodykit blended (very well by the looks of it) into the original bodywork before finishing it with a decent paint job.
Hardly a huge difference. They both look crap, just for different reasons.
