Stupid idea to sell it and buy a house. Bloody wives.

Rubbish driving position.
Rubbery gearchange.
Fantastic steering and throttle response.
Specialness by the bucket load.
Wonderful chassis.
Quick enough if I'm honest for the real world.

Loved it
good. When Nervy told me he thought they were over-rated a little bit of me died inside.
Me too.

And he tried to ruin the CSL for me.

The bd.

Heavens Squire, I paid over the odds!

She arrives tomorrow and as discussed with Bolt’ one is rather excited at the prospect, reports will be available.

Thoughts of the BMW Classic Centre and the new arrival might be best left?

Where is Nervy these days?

We've not had a drive-by posting for ages.

Or a proper one with less miles for five grand more;

Although it's not strictly a proper one, being of only 5 litres capacity, and being 'built' by Sytners

Strong money for their age, non?

Especially that Alpina one, considering you can buy a 996TT for £26K and it'll be quicker, more capable, cheaper to run (probably) and all round a better car AND ten years younger.

Meanwhile, down at the Vario-Rob end of the paddock, another old dowager is available.

Look at it; you don't drive that, you operate it.

It does beg the question though; was everyone born before 1966 terminally short sighted?

Weren't you moaning at me the other day about logic and common sense?

You are right though - it's a whole heap of electric issues, and at twenty thou it's mixing it with some seriously decent machinery.

Lovely.

Needs to be on its original wheels though as the E32 BBS cross-spokes look wrong.
