And another one:

I feel like there is something wrong with some of these posts as I haven't been that offended by the last few cars in this thread.

The Escort has almost certainly featured on this topic before and has been around for a long time now. it's a Reiger F40 kit that back in the 90s would be considered the daddy of wide arch bodykits and a good few £££.

To me there is a huge difference between the awful Ka with rubbish stickers and other tat stuck on and the Escort that has had an extensive bodykit blended (very well by the looks of it) into the original bodywork before finishing it with a decent paint job.
Hardly a huge difference. They both look crap, just for different reasons.
This is how a wide arch MK3 Escort should be done.

That is great; always had a soft spot for these Gartracs, though the exhaust lets it down a bit and that rear spoiler looks decidedly saggy, but otherwise spot on smile
Why is that here ?

It's awesome, and let down by the typical RS 1600i saggy rear spoiler as mentioned.
It was posted as an example of how a wide arch MK3 Escort should be done.
Sorry guys, didn't make it clear what I meant getmecoat

A Signum I see every day at work, it isn't clear from the photo but the exhaust is in the centre (well its just a tiny bit off centre, which makes it even worse!)
The stickers on the rear say "In memory of Paul Walker", what a legacy that must be!

I followed a MK1 Ford Focus Estate today. It had twin exhaust pipes (one each side of the car). The only thing was, the one on the right wasn't connected to anything....

Winterstoke Road? You get some 'interesting' motors heading down there towards Bedminster and Hartcliffe.

That's not a Signum, that's a Vectra estate (as in the ad campaign, showing one parked outside Castle Howard IIRC, strapline "To own a more impressive estate, you'd have to inherit one")... slightly ashamed that I remember that.

Oddly, I quite like that. Someone not taking him/herself too seriously. Nicer than a monochrome Audi anyhow!

Think I'll opt for the monochrome Audi if that's OK smile
