I did wonder if it was Lewis, but if it is his car, he was not driving it.

Is it his? If not, do you know who the owner is?

Passed this earlier ... I think it's just luck of the draw rather than a cherished purchase...

22 GT on one of those hideous Bentley SUV's in Ongar today. First I've seen in the flesh.
Possibly owned by Aston Martin racer Tom Alexander of 22GT racing

Plate was trimmed to just slightly wider than the two letters as well nono
I thought legally that that was allowed as long as space around the characters was within stated tolerances?
11mm all round is all that is required
Still needs the relevant BSAU markings though doesn't it?

In which case cutting the plate down will cut it off as it's normally in the bottom right. Getting a short plate made is a different thing altogether.

It's a 2015 Polo so guess it's a "cherished plate"

Spotted a Tesla Model S earlier today with the plate GA51 ESS which wasn't tampered with but I read easily as 'gasless'. I thought it was clever however am in two minds if it deserves a mention in this thread. Happy to be shot down and told to move it! smile

Just spotted on VW's used car locator. Now showing however as being on a Golf GTI so could still be a dealer owned registration:

Yes this is owned by the GTI World dealership in Edinburgh.

Saw a lovely plate on a Range Rover in Chesterfield today:

JAN 3

Properly spaced, not messed with at all. Looked superb.

unusual plate ?
yes its my name
really, your name has got a seven and a five in it?
no thats a T and an S
nope, thats and 7 and 5 - you should go back to the shop that did it a get it corrected. looks silly
but thats how its meant to be, I paid for it that way
what, paid for it with your name incorrectly spelt with numbers instead of letters?... thats a bit of an odd thing to do..

etc., etc., reel 'em in.
Yes, there are some true horrors out there.

Probably a mis-spaced and altered plate. My guess is J 11 with a black bolt?

Nope. It's a showroom plate as used by prestige dealer John Holland.
