I have good news on the plates which are appropriate to a company's name front. Was at the head office of Norton motorbikes today, and yes, they do own:

NOR 70N - Aston Martin Vanquish (current).

Parked alongside was:

RKT 1 - Aston Martin Vanquish (2004).

SGV 8 - Aston Martin Vantage (1996).
Guess the last one belongs to the business owner, Stuart Garner.

I saw JAN3 on the M6 a few weeks back. Cracking plate!

Saw TSM 1 on a Range Rover in Woburn Sands over the weekend. Probably worth a few quid as I guess it's a common set of initials.

Edinburgh's First Plate. Must be getting on for a £1million's worth now.

Do you really think the plate has appreciated by £75k per annum since it sold?

Taking into account arguably this is the plate with the biggest history of them all, that X1, a plate with less history sold for £650,000 in 2012 and the current level of interest in plates and availability of money, I think it is well possible, so I would say yes. Though I am not from Del Monte.

Fair points, don't disagree when you put it like that.

Yep, I agree - history, 'letter forward' and 'spelling' Si - would be up there with F1 and probably just behind A1, should that ever come back to the market.

Not sure what the process is for getting personalised plates in Lithuania, but I saw this in Monaco at the weekend.

All lined up for the Monaco moped GP (but I think the jogger gets the checkered flag.)

Wow , I saw 1W on a blue Range Rover today on the M66 near Bury / Manchester area. Think it belongs to a guy called Waj , same guy that owns the black and yellow Oakley design Veyron. (Amongst others) . Will try and get a pic if I can.
