One single thing that makes you think "knob" Vol 2
Discussion

Nearly. The thread where a cyclist moved to overtake a parked car, something he was perfectly entitled to do, BUT rode badly by not checking behind first. You anticipated what he was going to, anticipated that there would not be as much room as you would like but nevertheless overtook him while he was still overtaking the parked car, and somehow thought that beeping at him was the way to make the overtake safe.
If you wanted to open up that discussion again, why not do it on the thread where you were originally discussing it, rather than having a little dig on here?
If you bothered to read (assuming you can) the post, I wasn't the one who mentioned it! But since you are on here trolling at least you are on a suitable thread for people who overlook others mistakes and try to blame someone else by making things up.If you wanted to open up that discussion again, why not do it on the thread where you were originally discussing it, rather than having a little dig on here?
I see you are now having your pathetic arguments with someone else on there now, and still managing to look like knobs. Had the best laugh in ages at you all yesterday! So thanks for doing something useful

"I recently encountered some road users using the road without following the rules of the Highway Code, posted about it and then had to endure the most appalling word twisting, lies, abuse and opinions of others that did not know what they were talking about. No mention of the poor use of the road from those road users, just I was the bad driver. That strikes me as a bit knobish, defending the actions of those not following the rules and attacking those that do"
were you refreeing to yet another thread where you were too busy claiming to be holier than thou to actually read other people's posts? I didn't see anyone mention the cyclist thread before that post.

What, arguing that an amber light actually means stop, rather than put your foot down, hope you get through, and its still ok even if you "nip" through on red? What must have been one of the biggest knob incidents that ever happened to me was when I caught up a boy racer driving with his girl friend from Broadway towards Evesham. I noticed he appeared to be driving a bit erratically, so I decided to hang back and not overtake him as I normally would have done, mainly because I had my wife and two young daughters in the car, and we were only a couple of miles from the Evesham bypass anyway. Instead we enjoyed ourselves joking about this knob heads driving "skills".
Arriving at the bypass, I was turning left heading for Worcester, and he turned right, and as he pulled away he turned round and looked at me with a big grin on his stupid face and gave me the middle finger gesture. It was then that I realised his erratic driving was because he thought we were racing, and he'd won, when in fact I'd been laughing at his total lack of driving ability over the previous couple of miles.
Hope you read this, knob head, and realise what a silly boy you are.

The bloke in the Jag today who came onto the roundabout directly opposite me. I know the right hand lane he approached in is painted with a straight ahead and a right turn arrow.
As he wasn't indicating, I had no idea if he was an advanced driver obviously turning right, or an average driver going straight on (down the road I was on) without indicating left to show he was exiting.
Luckily I'm a cautious type, so I waited as he drove across my front, but if I hadn't been, I could've easily made a wrong assumption, pulled out and crashed into him.
If only he'd indicated right as he was going round the roundabout, it would've been much safer for everybody. Hey ho.

Just when do these cretins feel it necessary to replace a few bulbs?
They don't, just wait till the MOT and then get the garage to swap.Just when do these cretins feel it necessary to replace a few bulbs?
I went to a local charity event today: Thriplow Daffodil Weekend. £5 per adult, payable on entering the car park. Typical dull country fair type thing with all the craft stalls and food outlets that one should expect. That is not the subject of my ire.
On the narrow lane approaching it, there were about 30 cars parked on the verge, restricting access. All so they wouldn't have to pay a few quid to charity. And not just cruddy cars. Shiny Discoveries and Jags. Knobs.

You seem to do a lot of arguing, do it with someone else. I'm not interested.I'm done engaging with knob cyclists.

Is that why you're on this thread arguing about people's driving instead of cycling? Having more success? What makes me think knob?
Person who start arguments instead of just responding to them, as I do. Never been very good at turning the other cheek.
Person who thinks it is ok for them and others not to follow the rules of the road. The Highway Code for instance.
Person who thinks it is illegal to sound the horn to make other road users aware of your presence, and it is somehow acceptable to react to this by being abusive.
People who think it is anti-social or illegal to overtake someone going slower.
Person who get their jollies by being pedantic on the Internet, arguing about silly things like an amber light means the same as a red light.
People who think it is acceptable for ANY road user to go past an amber or red light illegally.
Person who thinks because someone is interested in driving enough to take extra lessons or tuition that they consider themselves to be Jedi warriors (they don't, they just want to be better drivers).
Drivers who pass too close to cyclists, giving us all a bad name.
People who cannot control themselves and end up becoming abusive because they cannot have a reasonable, adult conversation.
Selfish people who cannot give way to other road users because they are so important. Twice today I pulled over to let faster traffic pass, never seen cyclists do this, funnily enough.
And sad people who despite being told you are done speaking to them, still keep trying to provoke a response.
People who shove in to queues instead of waiting their turn.
All knobs.

What makes me think 'knob'?Someone who has a rant then says they are done. Then adds a few more snide posts straight away. Then raises the subject again on another thread. Then plays the holier than though card if anyone responds. Knob.
