White van man, not sure what he was delivering, back doors closed, could be a contractor working in the house, but decisions decisions, shall I park around the corner off the main road,

Or just abandon it on the path completely blocking it, and deary me along side that bus stop sign as well.

No contest, blocking the bus stop wins hands down.

Perhaps it's a new bus shelter? Keep watching and see if people keep climbing in and out of it to escape the rain until their bus comes.

It's not bad planning at all. It's a deliberate ploy, used as 'Traffic Calming' without having to 'fess up and tell the public that it's what their intention is.

It's also used to discourage following drivers from overtaking the bus while it is stopped. Especially prevalent where the bus stop is 'on the road' and not 'in a lay-by'. Because of the "Keep Left" board on the island, it becomes technically illegal to pass the bus at that point.

We have a few of those around here, bus stop near an island, most motorist fed up waiting, drive past the other side, how on earth are you supposed to know how long the bus will be there for?

BT what's OT mean? Off topic maybe, and how do you do it.

Yes thanks, why so touchy? No need to be personal either!

Oh I loved people parking like that at work when I had my shed of a polo, I would park it millimetres from the drivers door so they had to climb in through the passenger door smile

Don't mind it of they park at the remote end of the car park but to take up two places at the front is a tts game.

If you did that and he went away first you would be parked accross two bays exactly like him.

How do you know he didn't do that to someone?

GV60 EXF

Completely on the pavement. There is a pedestrian gateway conveniently placed for the "driver" to escape into its house.
