Surely not the prettiest jap car at all, the front is goppingly ugly!!
infact the whole car isn't exactly a looker
So in your eyes what is?
The prettiest jap car?
That really is a tough one they've made some corkers and some howlers
I've always been given to an R34 which is pretty in a mean kind of way
My favourite of all time and I can't put my finger on why is a supra, just looks right from every angle
Then again the datsun 240z does look pretty special

Couple more shots of the Marcos LM600. Not strictly a spotted as it was on the club stand at the 2009 Silverstone Classic.

From the same day, can anyone shed any light on this? It was just knocking around the paddock.

And just a random one from the Revival car parks a couple of years ago. Never seen one before or since - GT350 pick up. Genuine or otherwise?

The green car is a Rapport Forte which used to be owned by the Patrick Collection in Birmingham. It Carried the reg number 2888 AP when we owned it.

IIRC there were only five or six versions built, all of which we owned at one time they were built on Jaguar XJ12 running gear (I think) & were good cars although expensive soothe market for them was limited.

We also owned a convertible painted in a gorgeous brown paint & a couple of other odd designs details of which I have somewhere up in the loft.

Haven't seen them about for years so I wonder if they still exist?

Very nicely done, looks quite a lot like the Beverly Hills Mustang ones.

It looked beautifully engineered - and with a Holman Moody engine according to the signage.

Cheers for the info - as prompt and informative as one might expect of this forum. I did visit the Patrick Collection many moons ago but I was just a child. I have vague recollections of an RS200 and an XJ220. I believe Alexander Patrick attended the same school as my father and helped fund a technology lab of some kind there.

At one time back in the 80's we were the only car museum/collection anywhere in the world to have a complete set of every Group B rally car.

We had road versions & full rally versions of every car. The Audi quattro rally cars were insane when driven on the road.

Noisy & very very quick.

We didn't have the XJ220 for very long as the boss was one of the many people who were incredibly pissed off when the car finally emerged with the V12 engine replaced by the 6R4 engine.

The 6R4 was a very good engine & the 220 was an awesome car but it just lacked the kudos of the V12. Once he had settled the financial issues with Jaguar the 220 was sold for a profit........

Last time I saw it at the garage it had had a couple of false starts but was finally running sweetly. I was surprised at the power output when it went on the rollers. It just looks like it should have massive power. Oh, and until you are standing next to it you can't believe how impossibly low it is. Going by the links on the other post the owner looks very tall. Gawd knows how get gets in and out. I'd struggle and I'm a midget hehe

I'd love one in all its aggressive madarsedness cool
