Seems like a certain Scooby garage (well, their staff) have caused themselves quite a lot of bother-

To be fair that lane was more potholes than road lol... They're quoting the mechanics, but seem to have cut the sound from the video?

Ahh, i'm at work so haven't listened to it with sound...

but led to believe from whats been floating around on scooby forums and FB, that the employees driving it can be heard aiming for potholes, and commenting along the lines of "maybe if we bust the tyres they'll fix the road".

It's very muffled but the audio is still there I think.

Certainly bad press.

Scoobynet thread-

http://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-general-1/10338...

seems like the OP was given all sorts of abuse (you're making it up etc etc) until the video came out...

I'm waiting for "awfully chavvy car" and "wouldn't be seen dead in that" and "i'll stick to my focus thank you very much" comments on the Daily Fail about the Scooby.

hehe, their comments section is always amusing...I'm usually reticent to copy and paste a Daily Mail link..but this one seemed justified.

Tossers. I'm pasting this all over my faceballs. A lot of my friends own Scooby's. I posted it to their page and they deleted it.

thats' pretty dire, but in my experience not unusual.... It's very very hard to find a trust worthy garage in my experience!

Well the wheels are truly in motion on faceballs after I shared it on a Jap cars sale page. I hope they go under. Not just because of the video, but because of their reaction once they'd realised he had it on camera. Chose to corner him and make subtle threats. Now if the boss would have stepped up and conceded the issues and disciplined his staff, fair enough, but he didn't, which suggests to me that sort of behaviour is pretty much their standard practice. So sod them.

Is their faceballs page down? I tried to look for them but no joy.

Disgraceful behaviour though. Maybe it was just that one, dick employee but a bad reputation is hard to get rid of.

Is this not a storm in a tea cup?

The boss really hasn't handled the situation well at all, what could have been resolved has now turned into a whole lot of nonsense on social media. I find people saying that they hope the place goes out of business quite staggering.

Spotted your post and will share it on smile

Got to love Daily wails writing tho, does it really matter that he the father of a 1 year old child? If he was using the car to hammer down B roads like a loon with his 18 year old lad would that make the garage all ok then?

Calm down!! Its all bks as has been discovered on another forum. There is no video and the original poster was attention seeking.

ScoobyClinic have explained their side which reads far more credible.

I'm shocked that the Mail hasn't done its job properly - yes we know the age of the child but what about the (exaggerated) price of his house? I thought that that was compulsory.

Care to explain?

Is this not the video? Were you being sarcastic...?
