Massive respect to you, you wont regret it! Or maybe you will. There is a distinct possibility that you will regret it. Any chance of posting the ebay advert up here, I can see why you wouldn't but I am interested...

Silver with blue leather and wooden wheel? I know it's probably an optical illusion but the rear wheels look very small!!

Obviousley :P

Last time i did this Lady Luck was with me....bought a Pug 306...drove it to the outer hebrides and back the following day (well came back 5 days later, as it was a holiday)

Car was faultless, served me well for a couple of months...banged it back on ebay and made a small profit!

Add the £500 extra insurance for repairs and you're sorted.

You'll be fine fingers crossed

Couple of years ago I 'won' a Lotus Excel on Ebay. I should have checked out where the Lotus was but, well you know how it is with an Ebay 'bargin'.
The car was in Taunton and live in Skegness.........

Got home without a problem and to be fair it was a nice day out - called in on the F1 testing on the way back!

Why thankyou!

It's done 120k, so not mega for it's age. Surprising how many SEC's you see with 160+ on and still going strong!

Did you have shotgun seat rides? How "quick" feeling did the old girl feel?

We are most certainly not worthy mate! Lovely old thing! May I be cheeky and enquire as to the funds you threw at it? Or are you not divulging until you have completed the return journey with or sans uber barge? hehe
