What's your favorite Ferdinand Porsche creation?
Discussion
Following the demise of Ferdinand Porsche I suggested that you can roughly tell how old someone is from their favorite 911.
I was three when this came out and seven when dads Cortina Ghia was passed by one on the M25 as if we were stood still...
...so forum in dedication to the late Ferdinand what is your favorite Porsche?

The first of the proper 911's for me the 2.7 RS.
As seen in Stuttgart last week.

To be honest, if I was to go into the garage it would be the 959 over the 2.7RS for me everytime.

The 959 is lovely but a different BEAST with way more power. The 959 was a massive amount of money (DM) when it came out and was the first of the real Porsche Supercars but without the 911 there would have been no 959. Different strokes for different folks I guess!!

Come on; this is a "put a picture of your favorite Porsche up" thread not a "lets argue about the differences between cars" thread.
You guys.
Who's arguing? You guys.
It's just constructive criticism really, I think we all agree that they are both nice motors just that the 911 has way more legacy and history than the 959.

The 935 turbo and AC Cobra are two very different ways of making cars that will kill you"

A mid 80's turbo, in white for me. And no I’m not a fan of braces and nor do I own a filofax, in fact the car would be older than I am. However, a neighbour had one (and an early boxster S) and took me out in the turbo when I was about 10, the turbo lag was mental, it looked mad with its wide arches. Loved that car always used to listen for him starting the thing, I know I’d kill myself in it, but what a way to go! That car is partly responsible for my obession with all things with an engine, especially considering my dad had Toyota carina, then a Galaxy! Must say I've never felt much for the flat noses though, if you want a 911 it has to have the definitive shape IMO.
