Yes this is true for the US GTR warranty, but UK warranty is different.Yes your warranty will be void if VDC is turned off for launch control but warranty is still valid if turning traction control off. So your half right.

There wasn't anything in either of those videos that indicated they were privately owned.
But if they were, they just voided their warranty!
No warranty on imports anyway thought youd have known thatBut if they were, they just voided their warranty!

Could you now please answer the question I put to you earlier. You stated that the GT-R defied physics, could you please explain what you ment by that statement?
Show me another car that weighs as much as the GT-R with the same horse power that gets anywhere close to the 7:29 posted time. It's a simple fact that Nissan have produced something very very special with this car and you struggle to be able to comprehend this.

And now you have tried to deflect your inaccurate statements by posting an irrelevant warranty letter. There's a separate thread for that. Your making a fool of your self now.
You even edited one of my responses..did you not think people would notice?
Even if I'm wrong, which I'm willing to accept I might be, at least I am sticking to the issue at hand which is the GTR has been constantly and independently proven to be quicker than the 911T.
If you have nothing to add to that or anything to back up your claims that Nissan is fixing test mules to deceive people please kindly shut the fk up.

Show me another car that weighs as much as the GT-R with the same horse power that gets anywhere close to the 7:29 posted time. Power to Weight ratios are only part of the story. A car may have a far superior P to W ratio but still be much slower than a car with a lower one, it’s all down to the cars ability to transmit its power to the road in the most efficient way possible and this is where the GT-R is superior and able to produce faster lap times.
Let’s look at F1 as an example, if we were to apply some of your logic shown in this tread then the F1 cars of the 80's with their 1500HP turbo motors would be far quicker around a track than the current 700HP cars which clearly they are not. So how can a car with half the HP and around about the same weight be so much quicker, easy, well not really easy but, it comes down to superior aero and very clever suspension design which basically is what the GT-R brings to the table.
The GT-R is one of the few cars that produces positive down force, It also has a CD (Drag Coefficient) which is officially 0.27 which is a lot lower than the Porsche which is 0.31. It may look like a brick but it is very aero efficient. If you look under a GT-R (Flat bottom) you will see how much work has gone into making it a very "aero" car. But again frontal area is only a part of the equation, its all about airflow management. Most of the GT-R's down force comes from having a flat undertray which produces low pressure so sucking the car onto the ground. This combined with managing the airflow over the car is one of the main factors that allows the car to corner so well at speed.
You then throw in a very clever transmission, a four wheel drive system and a very well sorted suspension and you a have a car capable of hitting the numbers.
And just to add ,as has been reported by a number of US publications that have dynoed the GT-R, on average they produce between 30HP - 50HP more that the quoted 480HP. But you would expect this from a hand built engine.
I hope this explains things for you

I give up.Yet another cherry pick of one article by a Porsche owner.
I would let it go, but you didn't give up did you. I naturally cherry picked two examples as a consequence of your choice in your preceding post to use the word ALL. Therefore a proof by counter-example only requires one case...
While the DR piece was close enough to potentially be an unusual result, it is the Sport Auto time which causes me to doubt the relevance of the Nissan time. Note: relevance need not necessarily imply dishonesty. Plenty of people seem able to get within the ballpark of Porsche's claims whereas to my knowledge only Suzuki-san on an absolutely fantastic lap has seen the GTR around in anything like the time in question. So even if the time were fairly reached, it could generally be considered every bit as freakish an occurrence as being beaten by a cooking Carrera (and one which does not have manufacturer warranty conditions placed on its launch control system)...
I am also highly amused by all of the Nissan advocacy camp obsessively hurling constant accusations of ill feeling, envy, brand loyalty and so on at Porsche and indeed Corvette owners over this whole thing. We all know that there are faster and cheaper ways around the ring than our chosen conveyances - there always have been and always will be. In the right hands a heavily modified Mk2 Golf can suffice and we are all quite comfortable with the notion. A lot of people here however seem to regrettably have the mentality of the stereotype of a diminutive thug who insists on trying to start fights in the pub to prove that they can beat someone taller... The punchline is of course that as soon as someone tells them to apply some perspective and grow up....

Christ on a bike if Porsche, Ferrari or whoever had done that time at the 'Ring, as a car enthusiast I'd be doing this not wasting time and effort finding any angle to disprove it and going on a Porsche/Ferrari thread calling owners and all and sundry liars, along with "I've found a bloke in Outer Mongolia who's broke his car so all of them are crap" etc etc etc
As for the last few words in your post, the tone has simply nailed what I thought first time round.Congrats.
