The Aventadors testing on the same day made the P1 and other McLarens look very ordinary.
rofl noise, smoke and "presence" don't make a car fast. especially one with comparatively stone age technology.

Reason 1
I wouldn't buy one, 'cos bloody Den decided to go LHD.
Reason 2
I wouldn't buy one, I haven't got the money.

I posted on PH about seeing the black P1 in real life on the road months ago. No one was interested.

I spotted one on the way back from the AM Sunday Service (or another car event!) on the M25 a while ago. Even moving slowly in traffic it sounded nice biggrin

Looks spectacular, but a bit 'trying too hard' for me (too stylised and too many fussy curves and details). Elegant it ain't.

Hope they sell loads though.

I spotted this on the A419 in Swindon about a month ago . Looks amazing whilst on the move.

My wife though it was a batmobile lookalike

I saw 2 in convoy (one yellow, one black) two weeks ago in Esher High Street, Surrey.

Mind you I also saw an immaculate DB5, a Shelby Cobra,a KTM Crossbow and various Ferraris and Porches within minutes of the P1 spots.

Esher, Weybrige, Oxshott & Cobham do make car spotting easy!

I friend was told it's the first customer car and is ready to be delivered!
It can't be a customer car. That's XP7, the same prototype that was testing in the US. Except if you were talking about another one. smile

Anyone notice the rear number plate is pressed aluminium?

From the two cars spotted on the road above both with broken rear numberplates, maybe heat from the rear was too much for the plastic ones, so pressed is necessary?
Al new plates are metal backed seems there's a new eu reg or something

I live in Weybridge too. That is where I spotted the black P1, outside the Minnow.

Although they arnt, and the P1 has pressed aluminium plates on it, which is different to "metal backing" anyway
