I've just realised that the screen price of that car was £4995, yikes I know that on big prices 2-3k reductions are easy to get now but thats almost 50% off how the hell is the dealer going to make a living??

Well done though.
Because it is still more than you would get for a cheque.

Edited due to me not realising it was a stepper!!

I bought a 2000 W 528i SE in blue at the end of May this year...

43k with full BMWSH, leather, AC, phone, etc...

It came from a dealer in Crewe and it cost £2700.

Damn right it's not all bad!

My mortgage has dropped by £150 and petrol is below a pound! Woohoo!

Oh yeah, cars are cheap too!
Listen to yourself.

Petrol's £5 a gallon and all of a sudden everyone wants to suck Gordo's cock.

You're falling for it.
Too right, Gordon thinks if he *insists* that petrol prices should come down, and then they do come down, he'll get the credit for it. Was it Gordon or was it just the normal effect of a falling world price of oil. The guy's political career depends on people being pretty f***ing stupid.
