I still don't see what is nonsensical about preferring 3-doors.
My Meg RS is very practical as a 3-door. I don't need access to the rear and it optimised access to the front. It therefore makes sense for me.
I have a previous gen Civic Type R - 3 door only, it works very well for me too, we looked after a friends nipper a while back and getting the child seat in/out was easy enough due to the size of the doors! My Meg RS is very practical as a 3-door. It's not at all nonsensical. It's just economics: There are not enough people for it to make a profitable venture for Renault. My Meg RS is very practical as a 3-door. I don't need access to the rear and it optimised access to the front. It therefore makes sense for me.
