Just had a C1 as a hire car and i have to say that it was a hoot to drive and a very pleasant well equipped cabin. If the c3 is like that roller skate then i suspect they are onto something! Will depreciate like a stone and probably break but until then vive la france

The front of it:

Lets be different, tells take all the normal components and just put them on in a different order.

Inside:

Everyone else is fastening tablets to their dash boards, lets be different and use a 1995 PC monitor.

Just trying too hard, means you missed the point.

I'm really glad Peugeot and Citroen are making nice cars again because they were awful for the last 10 years.

I'd never have considered a Citroen until recently, now I have a DS5, my dad has the current C4 Picasso and a friend has a Cactus and they are great in their segments.

A silly number of people in the city I live in, drive TDi Audis in a range of about 4 colours, with idential alloys and everything so this was a breath of fresh air for me. VAG, BMW, Merc, Ford and Vauxhall were streets behind for style and gadgetry for the money when I was shopping as well.

Depreciation is a bh, but I'll just suck it up and enjoy my fairly unique car (have never seen another one at all never mind same colour alloys etc.)

Hideous like most French mainstream cars nowadays.....sticking a rubber car mat on the side does not make a car chic!
It looks like the polystyrene moldings peaches come in, so it has the structural integrity of any modern Citroen.... Definitely worth extra!

How is that screen so different from the ones used by the others cars in the segment ?

I sat in one at Stratford Westfield and it had the following interior, tweed (ish) and brown/orange 'leather'

I think it looks great, a real step up from the Cactus (we have one) and it feels reasonably well built for the money.

Hello there fellow DS5 owner wink

Citroen is on form at the moment, the Cactus and DS range I think are brilliant and I'm looking forward to the new hydropneumatic suspension when it comes in. I'm glad that Citroen has decided to focus their efforts on comfort again, it's a byword for the marque. Also the unique styling, ideas such as the airbumps and so on, it's nice to see a manufacturer trying to be evolutionary and not revolutionary for a change. I think it'll take a few more years for the brand image of the last say, 10 years to wear off but while it does, I'm very happy piling the miles on my DS5.

I'm just glad they are back to doing different stuff after trying to be conventional.

Its amazing how all the people who have seen it , or driven a cactus, or actually look at cars in this segment .....all believe its great.

Yet all the sheep who buy bland german cars, don't like it! even though they haven't seen it.

Personally I will applaud any manufacturer that tries to do something stylish and different and actually has its own style, rather than trying to make boring design become popular. Don't worry, I feel the same about 911's too.

I quite like that - has a more premium look to it than you'd think it would.

If all new "family" cars came with big rubber pads down the side, I might be able to park my car next to Mrs Leasealot without coming back to the side of the car looking like a cheese grater

Is it just me or does the front smiley grill look a bit like the Evoque?

I quite like it. I'm not likely to be in the market for a small hatchback (well certainly not a new one) any time soon but I like the fact it's a little different.
I'd have one of these before anything from Vauxhall in the same segment.

Because don't feel the need for 6 or 7 forward gears on a supermini?

Well after driving home in a Mercedes 200d company car tonight (for a course on monday) I am appauled by the cheap trashy plastic round heater vents and the plastic dashboard that Fisher Price could have made feel more tactile. Add to that ,that the mercedes reminds me of an austin allegro to look at ,with its bulbous arse end and its vanden plas front grille and i will take the citroen over that any day.
