Trader using my house to sell a car.
Discussion
Are you frequently out during the day? A known scam for sale of stolen rung motors is to identify empty but nice houses, advertise online providing mobile details only, arrange to meet the buyer at "their" house, appear out of a side gate or waiting out the front, and do the sale in the front drive.
When the buyer discovers they've bought a stolen vehicle, the buyer can't trace the seller and the real residents get the bother.
I would be very suspicious if my slightly isolated home was picked as a regular backdrop for his vehicle sales.

He seemed like a pleasant enough chap to be fair.
However, if I had used someone else's house for selling a car on Auto Trader I would be a bit spooked if they found out about it. If they then also phoned me, sounding quite East London and pissed off, addressing me by my nickname,I might take seriously a request to remove the offending advertising. Them knowing my exact address would probably close the deal.
