I'd imagine that someone who can afford to have this done, would have bought a brand new engine from Mercedes. At the very worst, it would've been taken out of a crashed or otherwise destroyed car that wasn't about to be repaired, but somehow I doubt it. I don't think that there's an engineless SLR because of this.
