Funnily enough I saw two of these in the space of about five minutes today. The second was a silver convertible. I just don't like the look of the covertible that much. The roof adds so much to these cars. The first was a dark blue model which looked absolutely majestic considering it was surrounded by pissing rain and urban decay.

I used to use the J-Gate on roundabouts to satisfy my driving urges. At all other times a manual was pointless.

The J-Gate was woeful.

And they did an XKR manual. (But just the one)

Woeful?? Perhaps yours was misadjusted as I used the J-Gate whenever I wanted "to play" a bit, both in the XK8 and the XKR 4.2 that I owned. At no time did I ever miss having a manual as the auto did everything that a manual would do but with no effort!
