There is a standars silver road car for sale through Simon Kidston in Switzerland as well.

Regarding multiple owners Thomas Bescher (who was the boss of the Veyron project) uset to own 2 F1's. A racer and a road car used for his daily commute.

Dr Bscher was the same owner with the "200mph every day on the way to work" claim McLaren are so fond of repeating.

Reading through this thread I just remembered that I had a book called F1 McLaren's Road Car kicking about. The cover is a bit tatty but it's still a superb collection of photos & information about the car from its initial conception through to production with a 'chassisography of the 'X' cars and the first few production ones.

Is It worth anything?

Thanks for that, how much do you think it would be worth?
