Hmmm the Marcos isn't going down too well - I think it's fantastic. Could I afford it I'd have one now - and in the 2 tone colour scheme too.

The Marcos has a good front end, some Cerb influence in the bonnet front haunches look, but nor suprising considering the designer did the cerb as well.

Dont like the Marcos flat rear end.

Agreed.

The new Marcos is a much better bet.

Proper V8 you see !

At £35k for the Marcos, and £40k for the really naughty 400hp version, this car is seriously good value.

Very well built too - Marcos have always been better screwed together than Blackpools finest.

The Marcos is likely to handle better than the TVR too, I would wager, as they have Prodrive on board to sort the chassis out.

Very promising. And the with Pentium chip-bloke owning the company ( loads of money ) they are here to stay.

I can seriously see myself buying one of those...

Now where is the number of my mortgage broker....

Isn't it great that small BRITISH companies are building such great cars.

It's also great that not everyone likes the same thing. The day we get the TVR Bland and the Noble Nice is the day to worry.

For now, keep up the good work everyone.

I can't help liking that Tuscan despite myself. It may be the colour but the headlamps and the neonate not quite developed curves make it look like the stereotypical silver alien with black oval eyes. Looks like a premature birth but still, have to like it.

The Noble is bloody awful. The headlamps are terrible, too big, too fussy, too square. Looks like what I used to draw on my schoolbooks in the 70's. Glad that some of you like it though. The back looks promising but can't see a decent pic of it. Front is dire though.

The Marcos looks like a Tamora at the front and a bit bland at the back but is the sort of car that I'd want to see in the flesh before deciding yes or no. So I went indifferent.

Ted, with the M14 at £75k could we include the AMV8 in the survey...?

The British have always been the absolute best low volume supercar manufacturer (c)2003 ErnestM (I was actually quoted on that remark in a national US Car Magazine weekly in 2003)

Whereas the Marcos's single largest component. it's engine, is 100% American.

What about the Bristol Fighter then?
