Looks really nice.

However that is not a proper ///M engine. The US E36 M3's didn't get the S50 B30 or S50 B32 engines we got here in Europe. They are only around 240bhp.

Oh my! Thats a bit nice isnt it?! (obviously the wheels would need to be changed, but other than that..)

Anyone seen a GT6 around lately?

Impressive beardage regarding the American market but, unless I've missed something, the seller does state that it is the S50 (B30 implied) fitted to his car. He would appear to have had the means and the commitment to source this unit...

Very nice, but the roll cage seriously compromises the interior space. I bet the original buyer was gutted.

That is sensational, I wouldn't feel the need to change anything about that.

It's an S52 in the pictures, which is the US spec M3 engine. Note that it doesn't have the individual throttle bodies that the Euro S50B30 and S50B32 engines have, as the most obvious external difference.

But he does refer to it as an S50, which is incorrect.

Dear All,

niiiice /Fast Show
Definitely a gold Noisy award for this.

Am I carping too much if I query the wheel/tyre choice?
A less modern style and a higher profile would be even more Q,

regards,
Jet

After that Ronin chap this restores a little bit of faith in the Americans to use the written word correctly.

Lovely car. I am a real fan of new engines in old cars. Like the wheels too!

Having owned a TR6 many years I shouldn't like this at all. However, oddly, I do. Just needs to loose the roll bar & get the bumpers fitted.

Oh yeah - it also needs a boot mounted luggage rack which mine had when I sold it.

Yes. I got overtaken by a GT6 in Cheltenham this morning. Lovely looking, & sounding, little car.

It needs the steering wheel on the right side too.

The roll cage would irritate the hell out of me. It's too much & would get in the way.

That is gorgeous! The above post has highlighted the only issue with it though frown
