It was fantastic fun donutting the Tuscan . I watched the demo guy show us what to do and I thought no way, that's going to be well difficult...

I started off with not enough revs and just kept on driving in ever decreasing circles round the cone. I was just about to give up when Ed shouts "MORE REVS!!" (he's so supportive ) so I took it up to 4500rpm and tried again.

Yup, I used left foot braking feathered in with the throttle whilst adjusting the steering to take it off full lock when the car got too tight.

I don't race but certainly want too next year, not that donutting the car shows any level of race skill - more a latent hooning side of the driver...

Methanol was ace at donutting his Tuscan and kept it well tidy against the cone - sir - I salute you .

I thoroughly recommend the TVR Technique day at Bedford Autodrome. Doing donuts was just one of the brilliant activities we did during that day and I learnt a lot.

Next time, I'm taking my car and Ed, I guess one good (360 ) turn deserves another.

Is this the right time to mention that you used to buy Max Power magazine?

Nice going
Was it this Friday just gone at Bedford?

Saw about 7 Tuscans, 2 Griffs, and 2 T350's, a 360 on their way to the Autodrome.

Wet pavement kills it I guess. Those cars sound quite nice.

She did. That top gear granny was a star, smoking the S2000 like a good 'un.

Bet she didn't have to worry about what her other half would say if she broke it though!
