Not me, after seeing the two people (husband and wife??) who left to do the cannonball run from docklands this afternoon...in an ariel atom!!

Respect to the matt black cerbera driver with 'Just Married' on the back windscreen. Took the left hand bend out of the car park slightly sideways and then to opposite lock on the roundabout that followed

Yeah, I was there too - that Cerbera made the best noise of the bunch of departure - closely followed by one of the specced up Supra's.

I was told that the couple in the Atom weren't doing the full run for some reason - they were only joining the convoy down to Dover.

My mates were the ones in the black Golf Rallye that headed off towards the end of the group. Had a text from them already - apparently, first stop is in Southern France, about 100 miles away from Barcelona - haven't looked on a map yet to see where that is.

Was a thoroughly enjoyable few houes in Docklands though.

...and they had to keep reminding people to keep away from the back of the car because the exhaust was expeosed and VERY hot...

We just went down to the docks to play with some of the cars along the way

The intensions had been to do the run, but having only just finished the car a week ago, it was pushing it! Still having a few teething problems but she was going well!!

I thought I recognized the roll cage.

As the Showgirl said to the Bishop

"My that looks a stiff one!"

Jon, I did wonder where you had stowed luggage for 6 days!?! Logistically, what were the plans on taking anything more than a toothbrush?

what do you need one of them for? and Jon I thought we had agreed that the wings would be a bit naughty for road use, when you wanted to drive it home from Castle Combe on Tuesday?

Will,

But it looks so much better with the wings on! Besides I couldnt help myself.

We were so far down on power at Castle Combe due to the fact that one of the alternator bolts had snapped and allowed the supercharger belt to slacken off. Now its running full boost it is rather good fun
