Meh. Been done before. Better, IMHO.

Plenty more out there too. PinzGauer, Unimog, any number of military trucks, 6x6, 8x4, 8x8. It's all been done before, I'm afraid.

Ferrari, Williams, and March all tried F1 cars with 6 wheels, 4 of them driven { http://www.thepetrolstop.com/2010/04/6-wheeled-f1-... } , following on from the original 4x4 performance car, the Ferguson P99

First 4 wheel drive car in F1, and the last front engined car to win a Formula 1 event.

0-60 in 6 seconds is quite impressive in something that size.

That is pretty cool tbh. And 15mpg is quite amazing all things considered.

42,000 euros, and comes with 350 litres of fuel.

Much better than an X5.

No don't think so. But Mogs do, so suspect they come from them.

No chance

The diff casing is round on that pic and the only mog with axles narrow enough to fit is the 404 and they have square diff housings.

If you fitted a current Mog axle under there it would make the track HUGE and massively heavy as Mog axles are stupidly heavy.

So they are probably custom drop boxes on the end of the axle

We all know what a portal axle is don't we?

I'm getting all manner of things wrong today so why stop now hehe

The caption under this pic said "The mechanical arrangement in the hub appears similar to those fitted to tall Unimogs" so I assumed they were portal axles, what's the difference between the two?

I have a new found respect for the level of detail in my Lego Unimog kit!
