You sometimes have to wonder where the names used by car manufacturers come from but sometimes they get it just right.

The idea for this thread came to me when I saw a Liquid Yellow Renault this afternoon and I thought it was a near perfect description as the sun was shining off a very nicely polished Megane R26.

So what's your best example...

Any of the Vauxhall Adam colours. Available in such classics as "A star is brown", "Saturday White Fever" and "Papa don't Peach" amongst many other, cringeworthy ones.

As for a colour I actually genuinely like the name of, BMW Laguna Seca blue - great colour, evocative and cool sounding name, and just always seemed fitting to me.
