y girls and the touts for the strip joints spoil it a little.And only drink Gambrinos ... and lots of it - the BEST Czech beer by far ... clear as a bell and no hangover.
Much cheaper out of the centre anyway ... but Prague is cheap as chips really compared to London ...
Bridge, old town etc, Wencleslas dq etc etc ... spot the ugliest building in Europe - the TV tower

Use buses and tube rather than taxis (often run by extortionist gangsters)
The Czech national Opera is great value (if you are in to Opera )- you can get matinee tickets for aobut £ 10 - 15 ish for a performance that would cost £80 over here in London.
Contact the Staropramen brewery to see if they are doing tours - well worth a visit.
The castle is impressive - bars on that side of the river less crowded too.
Bratwurst stalls are great.... in satisfying post drink munchies.

went last year with the missus and had a great time.
stayed on the other side of the bridge under the castle near the briish embassy.
loads of great bars, the castle and the catherdral is well worth a look.

we also went to the opera house for a laugh and saw a ballet ( had a private box and were sipping champagne in the intermission dressed in t-shirt and jeans
)
maybe we wern't in the middle of town that late at night or maybe as it was november we didnt trip over the stag/hen doos and the pp and hookers

I stayed in Prague in March of last year, and went all around the old town, you don't notice the stag/prostitue/seedy stuff unless you go looking for it.
There are many nice restaurants, the clock in Wenslas square (puppet's come outand spin about on the hour), Castle & Catherdral, obviously the bridges, the boat trip is a very pleasant way to spend an afternoon and if you head towards the huge government building (which was the scene of the velvet revolution, unlike China the Russians decided not to drive tanks over people when they went for independance) lots of shops, if you are there for a while you can go on day trips outside Prague to some very nice castle's nearby, the Opera, already mentioned is very nice.
Prague is very nice with all its baroque architecture (assuming you like old buildings) when walking up towards the Castle/Cathedral there is a church (St.Mary's I think, not sure) which has huge paintings of various history/religous scenes, very impressive.
You can even buy yourself a full suit of armour if you want to (might affect your weight limit on the plane though
)
If you decide to buy any of the pictures that various artists will try to sell you, make sure its an actual painting and not a picture of a painting just printed out, cos they is sneaky buggers.
All I can think of off the top of my head, its a great city, tube is great and very punctual and just be sensible with valuables when wandering around as again already mentioned pick pockets are about.

You would need to be blind to miss it. At the airport before departure, on the plane there...I defy anyone to walk around central Prague at any time of day and not see limos advertising lap dancing clubs, having flyers thrust in their hand etc. And at night...

Perhaps im blind, sorry but I noticed none of that and we stayed in a hotel just off the old square, right in the heart of the old town.
