I'm just wondering whether this would breach PH protocol.

As an example, back in 2009, I bought a brand new unregistered Mondeo 2.0 Edge for £12k (I had a choice of 3) and it has served faithfully and well ever since and I would not ordinarily be looking to change it because it's a good car, marred only by a few bumper scuffs and some minor trim wear.

Wouldn't it be nice if there was a "heads-up" thread to when cars are being sold off cheaply - whether pre-reg or run-out models. It doesn't have to be an advert for a particular car as such, just a pointer as to which dealers might have an available deal worth looking at.

I'm talking about outright sales not leases.

New car sales would profit as they might get sales they wouldn't otherwise have.

Not sure if this counts but in my eyes it's a good deal:

that mazda deal seems like a great deal! if only i didnt have negative equity at the moment.

the seat leon 2.0TDI FR seems like a good deal at the mo, 1200 deposit and 235 per month i think.

Have a look at Broadspeed or Carfile to get an idea of current discounts available.

Actually, this is a decent thread - well done OP. I shall peruse with interest. The MX5 looks good.

You can get 25% of an Audi A6 through drive the deal, sounds pretty decent to me. So that's £23k for a 2.0tdi SE (includes leather and nav). That's cheaper than an equivalent spec A3.
