Do I believe that Mr. Beckham had such good taste in specifying his car?

Do I even believe that this is "our David's" former motor?

Matt - I'll sell you a replica for $70K (I'll even make up a plate for the engine bay).

Yours is probably a better buy as it hasn't (repeat: hasn't) had a common tart on the passenger seat!

And the number plate on the plaque is different to the number on the car

And the driver's seat!

Regarding the engine plate, the could have at least got the dates correct... what happened to January 2000?

I know a bit about this. It is David's old car - when it's sold I'll give you all the low-down. Unless you are thinking of buying it, then mail me off line

Oh come on dish the info now, I can't imagine anyone on here is going to pay £10k over list for a name on the V5, and a little plaque under the bonnet, and we'll have lost interest anyway in 10 days

Yeah, I thought so too - didnt he used to have a dark coloured one? Obviously he has the money to buy anything, but I could have sworn he used to have a dark green / blue one....

Cheers,

Paul

It does say that it used to be his car...

'Vehicle Descrption

David Beckham (Captain of the England football team) TVR Cerbera 4.5 Lightweight David Beckham and his wife Victoria (ex Posh Spice singer) spent several weeks with the help of Peter Wheeler President of TVR Engineering in England to choose the specification and finest materials for this hand-built car which is painted in Crystal Topaz Pearlesent, with full magnolia leather interior piped in Royal Blue to match the wool carpets and Alcantara head lining. David took delivery of the car in January 2000 in time for the start of the new millennium. The hours spent in building this handcrafted super car has resulted in one of the prettiest and yet most dramatic cars of its period. The specification of this 2+2 configuration which will accommodate a man of 6'6" stature comfortably is without doubt one of the finest you will find in a supercar which is capable of reaching speeds of 200mph and 0-100mph around the 8sec mark. This long low sleek projectile with carbon composite panels 19" alloy wheels wrapped in ultra low profile Bridgestone S03 tyres is propelled by a lightweight 75' V8 engine originating from an early Formula 1 car. Now producing 420bhp and 380lbs torque in standard trim this car in the eyes of Peter Wheeler is a cocktail for exciting driving, their are no anti-lock brakes or traction control aids just the rush of adrenalin to heighten the WOW factor that is blended with a wonderful cacophony of pops and bangs resonating from the sports exhaust system. I can promise you that your presence will be well received on the road buy other road users and pedestrians. I persuaded David and Victoria to part with the car in April 2001, since then the car has undergone numerous factory improvements and refinements. The car has been tested to speeds between 170-190mph and behaved beautifully. I must stress that the car has never been raced or driven on the track, each evening after been cleaned she is parked in a centrally heated custom-built garage for another day. '

I think the wheels on the Tuscan R are 19" tarantula split rims but as Jeremy says I dont think they would fit under the Cerbera arches.

You can fit 19's under standard arches though.
