I can't work out if it's for sale, or rental.

But it strikes me as the ideal location for BTaP 2005

Think there was a thread on this a year or 2 ago. We were all going to club together and buy it for £100 each or something.
Then again i may have imagined it.
Just imagine though, We could all buy it and have low cost track days/tuition/meets/doos etc. Stick up some basic shalets in the surrounding area . Going to have a look now and see how much it is,
Price = 4 houses so i'm guessing about 20 million quid. Based on the assumption that 1 house = 10,000000 euros
I reckon we could get that down to 10 grand each Thats only 2000 members. Together with low cost holiday rental in the chateaux, leasing the track to different companies at say £2000 a day min.
Some of our younger ph members having time out from uni or whatever could staff the chateaux. " Brian, iv'e told you i want hospital corners on my bed sheets"
If one could raise the capital this could be such an adventure but who am i kidding? and where would i get 10 grand

working on the assumption that 1 house is 10 million euros. What is the exchange rate like at the moment?

No, assumption incorrect! 4 Houses is "more than" 2.3 million euros.

As Charlie say, I would say no more than 3 or 4 million max.

Is that place STILL for sale? I thought it had been sold by now? If not, I'll be in the estate agents office tuesday morning.

Just got to collect the £15m cheque on monday morning.

Woohoo!

Just had an email from Monsewer Garcin himself.

9 million euros chaps and chapesses.

That's nearly 6 and an alf million quid.

Hmmm... I think I'll pass on that one!

So that's between £1.20 and £2.40 per PHer per annum.

I have my 10 grand ready.

Somewhat belated reply from Monsewer Garcin:
"The main house doesn't need any works and is in a perfect state. Regarding the castle and its outbuildings, there is an important work to do, the structure if fairly well but the inside has to be redone."
