Am I missing something Richard?

What made you think it was a scam? And what makes you think the vendor is a numptie?

Has he not advertised the same car 8 times at £20k each. what if 8 bidders place a single bid on each auction for £20k does he have 8 308's to sell.

I was expecting to see "winning bidder to send 10% within 30 minutes of auction end by western union" etc etc but didn't so can only assume he doesn't understand how ebay works .. maybe

Stand outside and exhale. Does that mean your piston rings are knackered?

Nothing wrong with that this time of year, can't see anyone bidding on it without checking it out properly first anyway.
I wonder why the advert and speedo are 20k apart, the speedo has obviously been out at some point.
