Have you ever driven your car naked?

Close. I once got caught in torrential rain and was shivering to death. My car was parked miles away from work and when I got in I had to take my wet clothes off and drive home in my pants.

many years ago when rebuilding my recently crashed spitfire i did drive it naked to check the systems were all ok before attaching bonnet, driver's door and offside rear wing.

Not naked but...

Driving back from Frankfurt with a mate a couple of summers ago, it was about three in the morning and still very warm and humid so we decided to drop our jeans to around our knees (I have given up trying to remember why we thought this was a good idea, boxers where still on by the way). Now driving along all windows open enjoying the wind in our hair so to speak, when we round the next corner to see a police road block doing checks on all cars . Unfortunately we didn't have time to re-adjust our clothing before we spoke with Herr Plod, I'm hoping he put it down to the "eccentric English and their funny ways"

You know, when I read the title of this thread I thought exactly the same as you - the car was naked (as in an Ariel Atom) not the driver.

I have been naked (several times) and so was my old gf (in one of my previous cars) but we were in the back and not driving

Back in the late 80's I used to drive between Manchester and London quite a lot late at night. Drove naked one night to try relive some of the boredom and win a bet.

Never driven naked myself but a couple of years back at the Donington Kit Car show a couple of chaps (who I don't know BTW!) decided is was a good idea to ride round the carparks like this:
