It's getting bids, it was about £850 when I saw it lastnight, just over £1000 now.

£1248 now, with 7 days left on the auction.

The cheapest running 04 roadster on Autotrader is £1600, there's a spares and repair MOT fail for £1200. How high is this going to go? hehe

Thing is, ignoring the dreadful pile of st that is the gearbox, they're brilliant fun to drive.
Weigh fk all - check
Rear wheel drive - Check
Mid engined - Check
Good chassis - Check
Handles well - Check

One of these with a manual box and they would be superb, just the gearbox, someone test drove that box after it was made and said "you know what boys? I think we've nailed it, that's the one, that's the gearbox for this car, the delay between throttle down and gearbox shift is down to 5 minutes, I think we can actually get rid of at least one of the 12 satellites the gearbox change/kick down signal goes to"

I kind of get a feeling he's not overly keen on the car...

The only problem with 'funny' ads like this that become popular, they tend to attract bidders who have no intention of paying

Like Ronnie Pickering's Picasso he gave away for charity, I wonder how much they got for it in the end? It was relisted a few times on eBay.

But in the meantime it gets the seller his 5 minutes of internet fame and then a further week, if he's lucky, where his sob story gets blogged about & also put in various UK papers & their respective websites. I believe he's already made the Daily Mail amongst others.
