Got this reply this morning from one of the councillors.....


Thank you for your email regarding Castle Coombe Racing Circuit. Yours is one of over 60 emails and 3 letters I have recieved all saying exactly the same thing. I apologise for any delay in replying which is due to volume of correspondence I have recieved.

I actually agree with the points raised by the supporters of the track and will certainly vote against any noise nuisance order that comes before me in my role as a Councillor. Obviously I am only one voice out of 53 so cannot guarantee success but I will do my part.

I hope that you will continue to be part of the racing community at Castle Coombe and I hope that this issue gets resolved with a satisfactory result for the circuit.

I've had a number of similar replies.

As an aside, it amazes me the number of local councillors who cannot spell Combe correctly!

No reply to my emails as yet Most of mine were at the bottom of the list though so perhaps people didnt go straight to them
