The only things I am missing are the AJP, the Pickup, the space, the money, the skills but I do have the inclination
I did see a mini mini in Africa a few weeks ago. Imagine a mini with the back seats area removed. It was only a few feet long, looked pretty cool too

IIRC someone had one fitted to a Griff… sure I've seen it at VW a few years back.
Before I bought the Chim I looked at buying one with a blown engine and putting an AJP in it… costs all worked out, except no bugger would insure it….

Very interesting on both counts, if anyone has links do share! What a shame podie, a chim with an AJP would be fantastic. I assume the chassis would handle the power ok (unlike the V8S, there were doubts as to whether a good cossie engine might do warping damage, IIRC?)
I didn't get as far as checking to be honest… found a car with a dead engine, and found an AJP, then spoke to the insurers… quotes were few and far between, and those that did respond were in the 3k territory, so didn't bother.
Work of automotive art though Someone is making a V8 Twinny as well. The Princess gearbox they use is easy to make a common linkage IIRC.
Don't know where the fuel tank goes.
Can anyone link to an AJP info site, I'm really interested in finding out what all the fuss is about, in fact I would be interested about finding about all sorts of other V8s. (alloy ones) I reckon the RV8 for parts has to be a good idea.

They are fantastic fellas
I spoke to them about the turbo busa unit for mini fitment and they didnt bat an eyelid. Like it was the most reasonable request in the world.
Biggest issue is the gearbox, its just not designed to push that weight...
