Nice new area Ted. One thing puzzled me, there appears to be a section for the drivers of Porkers I do like the fact you don't have to re-enter your name, if it knows you, and the new smilies.

Looks good. And the indicators for new messages are back and working! Like the 'hide' buttons too for things like the Porkers forum... Maybe you need to add an explicit Z1 forum? Neil

Very good, Ted. Is this all your own work? I note it does NOT say that it is powered by Ultimate Bulletin Board....are you getting rid of external software on the site and doing it all yourself in ASP (+ whatever else?).

That's the plan. Afraid I don't understand any of that Perl stuff which has prevented me from integrating the discussions more tightly with the rest of the site. I want to pull together the things like polls, surveys, discussions into a more seamless environment that encourages more participation. I took a basic package and hacked it around to suit PistonHeads. Just trying to work out how to import the old gassing station now!

I tried to edit a couple of messages that I'd posted, and I got the following: Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01f4' Variable is undefined: 'msg' /gassing/post.inc, line 60 :bounce:

Only thing I've found so far; when I tried to Edit a message I'd posted earlier; it came back with authorisation denied.

Upon reflection, porker drivers seem a different breed so they won't be catered for initially...

Ted, One difference seems to be that the profile of the person posting a message is no longer displayed or am i missing an icon? I used to be able to e-mail someone off line as long as they allowed it in their profile. RIch...

Interesting - I wasn't sure how many people used that facility. It's the next enhancement. Your membership profile will be extended with what information you are happy to make available to other members along with a few more bits of 'personalisation'.
