Congrats to the Germans for an excellent Bierfest - cant see something like that hapen in the UK somehow. No real visible police presence, each tent with >7000 people all havin a fine time gettin drunk and enjoying the atmosphere, no trouble that we heard of. Something 6 million visitors in just under 3 weeks and close to 10million litres of beer consumed - now thats what I call a party!!
I'll be goin again, thats fer sure!

I'm sure, you meant Brauhaus ("Brewhouse", not 'brewery'

Next time, you pass Frankfurt, I'll show you Apfelwein 'applewine' (not: cider
)
)
BodoMust also try the handkäse followed by ribchen mit kraut und brot at zum Gemalten Haus in Schweizer Strasse, Sachsenhausen.
