Your tutor will be Robb Gravett, the successful ex-British Touring Car Champion, who has devised an incredible, unique and dynamic teaching programme.
Each student will be taught car handling through dynamic understanding. This is achieved through a mixture of classroom instruction, where you learn the principles and then the practical, where you put those principles into practice on the tarmac.
Robb provides personal training throughout the day. He has a unique ability to determine all areas of competence required to attain maximum car control. Robb’s teaching provides the student with a full dynamic awareness that effectively imparts a level of car control that is, without doubt, unsurpassed worldwide.
Cars will be provided at no extra cost, but you are welcome to bring your own vehicle to use during the training.
The course will be run on two dates:
- Saturday 15 October
- Sunday 11 December

I havnt done any other track days or driver tuition so I cant compare to somethign else, but ive been before, and its an excellent day out!
The course is usually over £1000 per person, per day, but has been specially discounted down to £360 for PHers.
Bloody hell, that's a good price.

We start our training day at 9:00am and finish at approximately 4:30pm. If you could bring a jacket and some suitable driving shoes that would be great; these are really all that are required. We currently look after a number of race drivers from new drivers to current world level racing, including rally. We do have bespoke courses tailored to the individual's requirements and needs. What I can say is that, for example, if you wanted to race or do track days, Robb would ensure that you are very much at the front of the grid!
Alternatively, should you just wish to be safer on the roads and simply understand your car and you as it's controller that is also what we aim to achieve.
With regard to any specific speed and handling needs Robb will give you all the relevant information regarding car handling, control, lines etc that will empower you with the skills that you are seeking.
The Course is incredibly empowering and is tremendous fun too. It leads to greater dynamic understanding of the vehicle you are driving and subsequently to far greater car control.
The main ethos, however, is safety. This is the very best option in the understanding and application of car control.
Lunch and all refreshments are provided throughout the day also.
Should you wish to bring your car to use throughout the day, that is fine. We do have BMW's as our training cars that you are also welcome to use. The tarmac area is 300 meters in diameter and this allows for all the exercises that are necessary to be carried out with optimum safety.
The cost is £360 (inclusive of VAT) - this price is massively discounted as the Course usually costs £1250!. Payment is at the time of booking and we can take credit cards over the telephone.

I'll be going, just not sure which day yet. Its a PHers only event so we need 10 plus drivers per day. Its likely that if spaces were still open, Cate would be able to make the numbers up.
IIRC we have the opportunity to get the skid pan wet (I think - must check with Cate) - Preferences to wet or dry, (or both?) anyone?

If I can make it (depends on budget as insurance, tyres and service all due around then - Ouch!!) I'd prefer a mixture of both. Give me the chance to experience the difference in required techniques.
