The unbarred double yellows was interesting. I appealed against this and it went to arbitration where it was reviewed by a barrister. I quoted statute and verse with photographs etc, he said the traffic regulations weren't the law? I lost the appeal so I have little faith with the system at the moment. I don't shop in Nottingham anymore, to anti-motorist.

arbitration is not a Court of Law, Bill of rights act says it is Illegal to fine you or cause you a Forfeiture without being first being convicted by a Court of Law, stand up for your rights!

They covered this on "Points West" (local South West magazine program on BBC) about 4 weeks ago. I was amazed not more fuss was made of it then. I guess they same thing will happen now, just ignore the problem

I thought the programme was a bit superficial and didn't hammer home well enough the scandal (yes scandal) of the laser dodgy scopes and just how the motorist is being conned. As usual the Home Office didn't appear on TV but issued their usual BS about the 'guidelines' etc adding their threats that the test (as with all the other tests) revealing the devices to be innacurate can't be used as a defence(!)

Plus, the journalist who, upon being told about the unlawful speed limit signs, suggested that the situation was "deadly" because drivers who know abou this may break the speed limits with impunity. What a fool, he had obviously been brainwashed by the "speed kills" argument.

Was interesting, brief but interesting. Unsure about the whole ilegal speed limit signs and the like, thought the sign just had to have the red circle round it, not a white border too (refering too these new uber visible signs with yellow borders).

However, I do see their point about the road marking and incorrect paint etc. Gent interviewed on it saying that people shouldn't bicker over a tecnicality. Why not, the law stipulates how it should be so if we are expected to follow the law they should too.

Guy with the laser didn't do himself any favours at the end when he tried to zap the Astra as it drove alongside him so he was pointing the gun perpendicular to the car. That's not in the ACPO guidelines!
