At MTV we are currently in the process of making Pimp My Ride Series 2. At present we are looking for a range of cars to appear on the show in the opening link..so, do you own any of the following cars

Subaru Impreza
Mitsubishi Evo VIII
Nissan Skyline
Nissan 350 Z

or

Range Rover Sport
Porsche Cayenne
BMW X5

If you own any of the above cars, or want to suggest your car, then please contact us on 020 7284 7622 or email me on vandenbosch.dan@mtvne.com

We would need the cars for one morning of filming, we'd cover fuel costs and you'd get to have a look around the garage.

thanks, dan

Don't think you will have much luck here mate. Pimp my ride sucks weenie.

I just realised you have done this before, I thought i was experienceing some deja Vu there for a second.

I am sure people will be much more interested in participating in your show this time though

Please hit Tim Westwood with something large and heavy and explain that Peterborough is not the Bronx.

Was he really born in 1958?

Wouldn't really call any of that lot 'supercars'. If you want one, have a look at my profile

My cousin's children desparately want you do 'do' her MG Metro.....they love the show (and Westwood for some strange reason......)

And anything you do to that would be a vast improvement!!

I know a few PHers who took their cars down for the background shots when filming the first series. None of them had a bad word to say about Tim and all of tehm had a superb and interesting day.

and were usually so friendly, too.

like the man said though, unfortunately you're show both sucks and blows. all those skilled people, all that expertise, all that capability, diluted almost to nothing by the excessive toxicity of the bloke pretending to be something hes not from somewhere hes not.

genuinely, honestly, truly, i would watch you're show if you replaced Westwood with a pile of decaying farm slurry. though a little sparkly costume for the slurry wouldn't go amiss.

I like it for what it is.

Unfortunately I have none of those cars to offer you.

Cheers,

Steve

why would you want a bmw x5? seems like the most boring car to have on a show about cars.

i too think that tim westwood should act his age. if he presented himself as a normal bloke, I'm sure he would be quite likeable, but the simple fact that he acts like he is from some ghetto from America doesn't impress really.

Nervous hit the nail on head and I agree with him, bring on the snazzy dressed pile of slurry and you've got another viewer!

'nother potential viewer here who has never seen more than 10 seconds of the show because of young Timothy. Even my teenage son won't watch it and he's your target audience. Are you actually listening?

I don't think you could get it more wrong, apart from having Michael Barrymore presenting "Pimp My Lilo".

come on chaps - grow up a bit! IT's called showbiz - westwood doens't really talk like that in real life, neither does dale winton. In the end they ahve the last laugh as they do very nicely out of the media and have comfortable lives (well unless they're getting shot at eh westwood!).

As schozz said the guys from PH who went down to the shoot previously reported back very favourably on the way they were treated, and had a good time too.

So if you' can help the guy go for it - if you're just going to post the same old tat you posted last time someone mentioned PmR - then raise the bar a bit and go play in the P&P on the c**k size thread...

though possibly getting a unidexter to present 'Pimp My Limp' might be a contender.

Given that they'd volunteered the use of their 'rides', I'd be pretty shocked if they were treated in any other way!

I'm sure Tim is a lovely bloke really, but why he insists on describing himself as being the 'Big Dog' who 'Drops Tunes' whilst being 48 years old (apparently?) is a bit beyond my understanding?

To add, I'm actually a fan of 'well' modified cars as a builder myself. The work that goes into them is stunning.

Never managed to make it through an entire show either, partly because of that tt Westwood who seems to keep "dropping his base", whatever his base is, and partly because it was too painful watching a car be masacred by such a bunch of butchers, I am however curious as to why you want some proper cars on your show? is it to show how poor yours end up?
