Happened a few hours ago. It sounds like the driver escaped and ran away from the accident, perhaps it was a stolen car? Police arrested the two individuals who only substained cut lips from the airbags.

google "enzo crash" and there are so many individual accidents, its very sad. More training needed in many cases methinks.

Indeed. I remember reading about and seeing the pictures from a similar crash where the car was split in half

The car split in half here too. It's designed to do that...

The main problem is that the downforce aids are designed to work with air flowing over them in a straight line from the front of the car. This means that if the car skids of goes off road it is possible for it to lose most, if not all extra downforce, so only froction can stop it.

Very scary

Bad attitude I know, but if you were in the vicinity with a pickup truck, and there was nobody hurt or at the scene, would you blag the engine? Ideal for a Punto project

As is often the case, lots of money doesn't always mean lots of skill. These cars are treated like toys, which is the complete opposite of what they should be. They should be driven, and experience gained....

anyway who's claiming what? I've claimed the cockpit including doors and wheels, I'm gonna be different and put a punto engine in it with some cherrybomb exhausts.

Do you think they spent a few hours deliberating over whether it was a ford explorer, honda civic, or the most distinctive car on earth?

Why is it designed to split into two pieces?

Love the way on the yank video it says 'Fatal Crash' and just heard that the reporter said he was travelling at 200mph!

He also just said it was a 'huge V8 weighing 1500 pounds'
