PH at the British Motorshow

Exciting new 'PistonHeads Performance Zone' to be a feature of this year's British International Motor Show

British International Motor Show
British International Motor Show
2006 looks like being a very exciting year for PistonHeads. July will see us exhibiting at the British International Motor Show for the first time.

This year's show is likely to be a very different affair to those of the last few years. Unlike in previous years where it's been run by the trade body the SMMT, this year it was put out to tender to event specialists.

The new team running the show have given it fresh input which will bring big manufacturers back and it will be the first time that the show has been held in Docklands. We're promised several world debuts too.

Whilst a London venue won't be as convenient as Birmingham for some, it's felt that the transport links to London and the much more affordable entry prices will ensure attendance exceeds that of recent years.

The PistonHeads Performance Zone

As for the PH presence, well we've teamed up with the organisers of the British International Motor Show to create an area dedicated to performance cars. The PistonHeads Performance Zone will play host to a range of companies offering the ultimate performance accessories and enhancements. The Motor Show certainly won't be just a showcase for MPV's this year!

The PistonHeads members’ lounge in the PistonHeads Performance Zone will form the centre-piece of the specialist area dedicated exclusively to the needs of performance car owners.  Companies whose brands, products or services appeal to PHers will be able to exhibit within the Zone.

You'll be hearing plenty about the show on PH in the coming months. We'll be offering special ticket deals and a wealth of info about the show and the attractions. Around 500,000 people are expected to visit. See you there!

I was just thinking that. There's a lot of us regulars here, maybe a Members Hall might be needed to cram us all in?

I've got some persuading to do now, it's just a few miles away from here so may take some time to grind my Dad down

It'll be cheaper on train dave. You can get down to London and back on the train for as little as a fiver if you buy your tickets far enough in advance Excel isn't that fast to get to either by car! I suggest the train
