Not a photoshop, this car will be featured in next weeks Autoexpress (there is a tiny picture of part of the nose at the back of this weeks issue). The car will be officially launched by Jenson Button on the 28th (Tuesday).

Officially this car is called the "Type-R Concept". But the Civic I drive is identical to the original concept bar the wing mirrors, so expect this to be extremely close (nie Identical) to final form.

not sure about the wing/spoiler but otherwise if it weren't yellow it'd be great!

i do think it's a bit more asbo than the ST though personally.

I like it, if it's good looking in real life then that might be my next car - like the wheels.

I just hope it has a good enough power / weight to compete with the new comers, full on asbo here I come!

One wouldnt be referring to the rather long thread that was initiated by Ted's not-so-positive review of the CTR would you?

I rather hope that people who slated the CTR are a little more reasonable this time... then again, I am often accused of being overly optimistic

I like it! Let's hope they manage to give a sporting feel to the two tier dash as well.

One thing though: the trangular exhaust apertures won't lend themselves to aftermark exhausts, will they?

I posted these photographs on www.donnycruise.com earlier this morning. Personally I think it looks better than the old one due to it being larier.

Old in a "I think I'd look a prat in one" sort of way.

It creeps up on all of us.

Definately not as subtle as the old one. I don't really like the wheels. Looks okay but had a few too many swoops and lines in the bodykit making it look like something from Halfords.

I'm sure it will be great though.
