Pistonheads.com brings you the Ultimate Car Control course. It's a one-day course, and PistonHeads can offer a special, heavy discount (normally over £1000, we're offering it at £360 inc VAT!!!)
New Date: Saturday 20th May
Your tutor will be Robb Gravett, the successful ex-British Touring Car Champion, who has devised an incredible, unique and dynamic teaching programme.
Each student will be taught car handling through dynamic understanding. This is achieved through a mixture of classroom instruction, where you learn the principles and then the practical, where you put those principles into practice on the tarmac.
Robb provides personal training throughout the day. He has a unique ability to determine all areas of competence required to attain maximum car control. Robb’s teaching provides the student with a full dynamic awareness that effectively imparts a level of car control that is, without doubt, unsurpassed worldwide.
Cars will be provided at no extra cost, but you are welcome to bring your own vehicle to use during the training.

Rob was BTCC champion in 1990 and did a fantastic job against the better funded Andy Rouse Engineering / Graham Goode Racing prepared cars.
Rouse would usually lead in the opening laps before his fragile Pirelli rear tyres were torn to pieces by the RS500's 550bhp. He was then easy meat for Gravett who was running the slow to warm, but critically more durable, Yokohamas.

Hi, i've just had an e mail from them, and the second phase (advanced) course is £500, which i consider a bit steep, especially as some of the time is a refresher for techniques learnt on the first (£360 IIRC). I've written back and queried this, so we'll see if they have made a mistake
